College Housemasters / House Directors

House Directors occupy a vital role in the pastoral, administrative and academic oversight of boys at the College. Initially, their title had been Housemaster – this had been changed in 2013 to House Directors to avoid the gender specific nature of ‘master’.  Current practice is that House Directors are appointed for a five-year term, which is renewable once. Once House Directors step down from this position, they usually take on specific leadership positions when they become available (such as Exchanges, Interns, Epic, Student teacher arrangements).
